Job Description
Locums First is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner for flexible sessional work across primary care and regional care centre services in Blandford Forum. This role suits ACPs confident in undertaking autonomous assessments, managing varied clinical presentations and supporting streamlined patient flow across local health services.
You will work within structured clinical environments that provide clear pathways, ensuring consistent support for advanced-level practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Running independent ACP-led clinics across care centre and GP service settings
- Assessing acute, undifferentiated and routine presentations
- Providing telephone and on-site triage during periods of high demand
- Prescribing and initiating treatment where qualified
- Completing routine clinical actions including results, reviews and referrals
- Documenting accurately in digital clinical systems
Requirements
- Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification
- Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
- Independent Prescribing desirable
- Experience in primary care, urgent care or community health
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS clearance
Working Pattern
- Flexible sessional work
- Weekday, evening or weekend shifts
- Suitable for both short-term and ongoing arrangements
