Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated Locum Practice Nurse to work three days a week in a busy GP surgery in Markfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients through a range of clinical duties, including adult and child immunaisations, smears, chronic disease management, bloods, wound care, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
• Administering adult and child immunisations • Conducting smears • Managing chronic diseases, including COPD and asthma • Taking blood samples • Providing wound care and dressings • Other clinical duties as required
Job Requirements:
• Valid and up-to-date documentation, including NMC membership, training, insurance, etc. • Previous experience working in a GP surgery • Good communication and organisational skills • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Flexibility in working days and hours
Working Days and Hours:
• Three flexible working days between Monday – Friday • 8 hours a day • Flexible between 08:00 – 18:00 • Long-term role
