Job Description
Locums First is currently seeking a Locum Practice Nurse (PN) to work in a GP surgery in Great Northern Road.
The role is for 3 days a week and will involve providing high-quality care to patients.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for: • Administering adult and child immunisations • Carrying out smears • Chronic disease management, including COPD and asthma • Taking bloods • Wound care • Other related duties as assigned by the Practice Manager or GP
Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess the following: • Up to date documentation, including NMC membership, training, insurance etc. • Previous experience of working in a GP surgery • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Days and Hours: • Flexible working days between Monday – Friday • 8 hours a day • Flexible between 08:00 – 18:00 • Long-term role
