Job Description

Locums First is looking for Locum Nurse Practitioners in Studley. This role offers flexible sessions across community healthcare settings and GP-based services, providing a varied working pattern for NPs confident in delivering autonomous clinics and supporting day-to-day clinical activity.

You will assist local providers by running NP-led clinics, managing minor illness presentations, supporting triage processes and delivering routine nursing tasks. Each service offers structured workflows and supportive clinical teams to ensure safe and efficient practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Running autonomous NP clinics across community and GP environments
  • Managing acute presentations and routine assessments
  • Supporting urgent care demand with telephone triage
  • Prescribing safely within scope (if qualified)
  • Reviewing investigations and completing follow-up actions
  • Documenting clearly and accurately within service clinical systems
  • Assisting clinicians with general clinical duties where required

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical experience
  • Independent Prescribing qualification desirable
  • Background in primary care, urgent care or community health
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
  • Ability to work confidently in varied clinical settings
  • Enhanced DBS

Working Pattern
