Job Description
Locums First is seeking a Locum Health and Wellbeing Coach to join a GP practice in Edinburgh.
Locums First is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare staffing services to our clients and we are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Health and Wellbeing Coach to join our team. As a Health and Wellbeing Coach, you will play a crucial role in empowering our clients to achieve optimal health and wellness by providing personalized coaching and support. If you are a driven individual with a strong background in health and wellness, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Use coaching skills to support people to make conscious and informed health choices, change behaviours and encourage proactive management and prevention of illness.
- Work closely with MDT colleagues, including link workers, to provide access to self-management education, peer support and social prescribing
Requirements:
- Undertaking or qualified from appropriate four-day health coaching training as accredited by the Personalised Care Institute.
Working Days and Hours:
- Flexible working days between Monday – Friday
- 8 hours a day
- Flexible between 08:00 – 18:00
- Long-term role
