Job Description
Locums First is seeking a Locum Dietitian to join a GP practice in Mossend.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Locum Dietitian to join our team at Locums First. Our company specializes in providing temporary staffing solutions for healthcare facilities, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our clients and patients.
As a Locum Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and private practices. Your main responsibility will be to assess, plan, and implement nutritional care plans for patients based on their individual needs and medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist dietetics advice to address, for example, diabetes, weight management, food allergies, and coeliac, gastrointestinal or metabolic diseases
- Prescribe medication within scope
- Educate and supports patients
Working Days and Hours:
- Flexible working days between Monday – Friday
- 8 hours a day
- Flexible between 08:00 – 18:00
- Long-term role

Qualifications:
- Educated to bachelors/master’s degree level (or equivalent)
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Able to operate at an advanced level of practice
