Job Description
Locums First is looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Kirriemuir. This opportunity offers flexible sessional work within community-focused clinics, ideal for ACPs experienced in autonomous clinical assessment and supporting urgent patient demand.
You will work as part of established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across a range of structured service environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings
- Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
- Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage
- Prescribing safely within scope of competence
- Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks
- Recording accurate and clear digital documentation
Requirements
- Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
- Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
- Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable
- Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services
- Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments
- Enhanced DBS
Working Pattern
- Fully flexible shifts
- Weekday, evening or weekend availability
- Ad-hoc or ongoing sessional work depending on your schedule
